Hey Beginner if you are not able to understand the notes of any song from any blog. You are at the right place.
Please observe this upper image and you can see the name of note written on keys and remember theses keys.
There are generally 5 Ocataves on a piano/keyboard theat are denoted as C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 or each other notes on piano like D1,E5 etc
Now You can see in my other blog in which I had written notes like C*, D*, E* this means the note of higher octave i.e. C5, D5, E5 etc and *C, *D, *E....... this means the note of lower octave i.e. C3, D3, E3 etc and normal we play melody on C4, D4, E4 and follow up the notes
And Here C#, D# ........ are called as sharps. For Example C# is C sharp, D# is D sharp and follow up and same notes can be said as Db as D flat and so on.
Chords
A chord is basically a group of notes played together with the melodies, This attract the person who is listening your melody and drag attention towards you.
Now you have learnt about Notes and how to play melody on paino and now the most basic thing that you should remember .
There are chords for each note placed on piano and they are basically played by left hand with melodies on right hand. These are generally played played on lowermost oct6ave of your Keyboard
Please go-through these chords, then I will tell you the trick how to remember these chord -:
1. C Major = C E G
2. C Minor = C D# G
3. C# Major = C# F G#
4. C# Minor = C# E G#
5. D Major = D F# A
6. D Minor = D F A
7. D# Major = D# G B#
8. D# Minor = D# F# B#
9. E Major = E G# B
10. E Minor = E G B
11. F Major = F A C [C of next octave i.e. C2]
12.F# Major = F# A# C# [C# of next octave i.e. C#2]
13.F# Minor = F# A C# [C# of next octave i.e. C#2]
14. G Major = G B D [D of next octave i.e. D2]
15.G Minor = G B# D [D of next octave i.e. D2]
16. G# Major = G# C D# [D# of next octave i.e. D#2]
17. G# Minor = G# B D# [D# of next octave i.e. D#2]
18. A Major = A D# E [C#, E of next octave i.e. C#2, E2]
19. A Minor = A C E[ [C, E of next octave i.e. C2, E2]
20. A# Major = A# D F [D#, E of next octave i.e. D#2, E2]
21. A# Minor = A# C# F [C#, F of next octave i.e. C#2, F2]
22. B Major = B D# F# [D#, F# of next octave i.e. D#2, F#2]
23 B Minor = B D F# [D, F# of next octave i.e. D2, F#2]
Now yo0u have almost learnt what are chords.
Do you have noticed and pattern between major and minor chords?
If you haven't I will tell you For Example there is a chord C Major Notes are C E G now when you will count the difference between keys it would be 1-5-8 i.e.
Let C be the 1st key so your second key is C# and 3rd is D and so on so for any major chord the number is 1-5-8.
And for Minor is 1-4-8
So, in next blog I will tell you about inversions.
